Behaviour
Red-headed Weavers mostly live in broadleaf woodlands in wet subtropical and tropical regions across much of eastern and southern Africa. This kind of weavers primarily feed on insects, and will also consume fruits and nectar locally. They join other bird species to forage in flocks during non-breeding season.
