Behaviour
They are spotted alone, in pairs or in small groups of no more than 5, occasionally flying in bird flocks of 50 to 60. They prefer to stay in tree canopies and forage for food with other large pigeons.
Distribution
They are widely distributed across West and Southeast Asia, stretching from Northern India and Nepal to as far as Southern China, the Philippines and Indonesia.
