Behaviour
Despite being basically solitary animals, red-necked wallabies live together in case they have abundant food and water supply with spacious rooms for shelter. When living together, they have a social hierarchy in place comparable to those of other wallaby species. Red-necked wallabies are nocturnal, largely resting during daytime.
Distribution
Widely distributed in eastern and southeastern Australia, especially in Queensland, northeastern New South Wales and Tasmania
